一、研究所简介-Introduction
中国科学院地球环境研究所成立于1999年，前身是1985年成立的中国科学院黄土与第四纪地质研究室，位于古城西安。研究所使命为探索地球环境奥秘、服务生态文明建设，致力为国际地球系统科学发展做出创新性贡献，成为国际一流的大陆环境变化科学研究中心。
The Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEECAS) was established in 1999. Its predecessor was the Lab of Loess and Quaternary Geology founded in 1985. The Institute is located in Xi'an, known as the "Ancient Capital of China" . The mission of the Institute is to advance understanding of the Earth's environment systems and to support the pursuit of ecological sustainability. IEECAS strives to establish itself as a world-class research center for continental environmental change.
二、科研队伍-Scientists
研究所各类人才汇聚，包括中国科学院院士2人和欧洲科学院院士1人，培养国家杰出青年科学基金获得者20余人，是科技部认定的“国家创新人才培养示范基地”。
IEECAS brings together a wide range of research scientists, including two Members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and one Member of the European Academy of Sciences. It has fostered over 20 recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. IEECAS is recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology as a National Demonstration Base for Innovative Talent Training.
三、科研平台-Platforms
研究所拥有黄土科学全国重点实验室、两个国家级野外观测科学研究站和一个国家级大型科学仪器中心(西安加速器质谱中心)，另有陕西省加速器质谱技术及应用、大气污染与雾霾防治重点实验室，中亚极端气候“一带一路”联合实验室;拥有东亚最大的大陆环境科学钻探岩心库。
IEECAS houses the National Key Laboratory of Loess Science, two National Observation and Research Stations, and a National Scientific Instrument Center (the Xi’an Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Center). In addition, it hosts the Shaanxi Key Laboratory of Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Technology and Application, the Shaanxi Key Laboratory of Air Pollution and Haze Prevention, and the Shaanxi Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Central Asia Extreme Climate. The Institute also maintains the largest continental environmental science drilling core repository in East Asia.
四、科研成果-Achievements
科研成果先后获国家自然科学奖8项，入选“中国科学十大进展”3项，已在Science、Nature、PNAS、Nature子刊等国际顶尖期刊发表文章180余篇，向国家提交20余项政策建议。
IEECAS’s research achievements have received 8 National Natural Science Awards, 3 research outcomes named among China's Top 10 Scientific Advances. IEECAS has published over 180 articles in top international journals such as Science, Nature, PNAS, and Nature family journals, and has submitted more than 20 policy recommendations to the national government.
五、国际合作-International Cooperation
研究所与美国、英国、法国、德国、俄罗斯、加拿大、澳大利亚、奥地利、荷兰、日本、新加坡、泰国、吉尔吉斯斯坦、塔吉克斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦等三十余个国家和地区的高水平研究机构建立了合作关系，是科学技术部认定的国家级国际联合研究中心。
IEECAS has established cooperative ties with high-level research institutions in more than 30 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, Canada, Australia, Austria, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. It is accredited as a National Center for International Joint Research by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

1. 领军人才计划(Leading Scientist program)
基本条件：博士学位，副教授及以上职称;
相关待遇：薪酬80-100 W，科研经费800-1000 W。
Eligibility: PhD Degree, Associate Professor or above.
Benefits: Annual Salary: RMB 800,000-1,000,000; Research Funding: RMB 8-10 million.
2. 杰出青年人才计划 (Distinguished Youth Scientist)
基本条件：博士学位，年龄不超过40周岁，至少三年工作经历;
相关待遇：薪酬40-60W, 科研经费400-600 W。
Eligibility: PhD Degree, under 40 years of age and no less than 3 years of working experience.
Benefits: Annual Salary: RMB 400,000-600,000; Research Funding: RMB 4-6 million.
3. 优秀青年人才计划(Excellent Youth Talent)
基本条件：博士学位，年龄不超过30周岁;
相关待遇：薪酬30-40W，科研经费50-80W。
Eligibility：PhD Degree and under 30 years of age.
Benefits: Annual salary: RMB 300,000-400,000; Research Funding: RMB 500,000-800,000.
